Welcome to the License page of Lineicons documentation. Here we will dive into the policies that Lineicons have.

Lineicons two different options for Licensing.

Lineicons Free Basic

The free and basic version of Lineicons is open-source. It also licensed under the MIT license. So, you can download, customize and use them for any personal and commercial projects. However, you can’t resell or redistribute the icons as an “Icon Pack” from other sources.

  1. Personal/Commercial Use: Permitted
  2. Integrating and Redistributing with Projects: Permitted
  3. Attribution: Appreciated but not required.
  4. Reselling or Redistributing Source Files as ‘Icon Pack/Icon Font/Icons’ from Other Sources or Public/Private Domain: Not Allowed

Lineicons Pro

Lineicons Pro allows you to access the whole library with amazing icons. You can use, edit, and add the icons to any personal or commercial projects. However, reselling and redistributing as an “Icon Pack” from other sources is still prohibited.

  1. Commercial and Personal Use: Permitted. (according to the pricing plan)
  2. Embedding on Projects and Sharing with Non-Creators: Permitted. (according to the pricing plan)
  3. Attribution: Not required.
  4. Reselling or Redistributing Source Files: Prohibited.
  5. Number of Seats/Users: Determined by the license type. (according to pricing plan)

Clarifications

Brand icons: The “Brand” and “Social Media” icons used in Lineicons projects are trademarks and owned by their respective entities. Kindly ensure you follow their guideline while using these icons.

With Lineicons, you will have access to a huge set of icons that will help make your project more appealing. Whether you are using the free or pro version, the icons give a professional touch without needing to be designed from scratch. The open-source version of Lineicons encourages collaboration and innovation. On the other hand, the pro version offers better features for more extensive projects.
